Fifth Anniversary McAllister Act Gala

SPECIAL EVENT

Celebrating the fifth anniversary of the McAllister Act, the Gala is being held at the luxurious Plaza Hotel on New York City's Upper East Side, only a stone's throw from Central Park. Hosted by the McAllister Commission, some of the most important leaders in the anti-mutant movement will be in attendance, along with the Hellfire Club. This year's theme is the jungle, something surely to be reflected in the choice of attire for the evening.

Ruins of the Xavier Institute

After Professor Xavier was assassinated and the Institute stormed, the building has fallen into decay and disrepair five years later. The building has become a meeting place for mutants in hiding, although the building is under constant surveillance; there are still places where people can seek refuge and safety, at least temporarily.

Guthrie Farm

Located in northern Westchester County not too far from the remnants of the Xavier Institute, the Guthrie family has created a haven for mutants on their expansive dairy farm lead by matriarch Lucinda. With those in their care under the guise of being workers, the Guthrie farm has become one of the safest havens for mutants.

New Smyrna Containment Center

When mutants are captured, they are moved to the New Smyrna Containment Center outside of Albany where they are put through a battery of tests and trials to test the mutants and their abilities, as well as using them as testing for new weapons, medicines, and so on, before they meet their final fate. The presence of a crematorium on site gives witness to what this final fate actually is.

Elsewhere

From Westchester County to New York state and Long Island,
many mutants have family, friends, or safe houses in these areas.
For some it is secure, but for others, they are very much out in the open.

London

The capital and largest city in the United Kingdom, London is a city where anything can be had, for a price. From being the center of government to the center of crime, this is a city of mystery and excitement, and with the enactment of the McAllister Act in America, it has become a haven for mutants who are enjoying the remaining time they have before England joins the list of nations where they are banned. Until then, they live in both the public and private eyes, and enjoy their own fair share of hard knocks.

Beyond London

Outside of London there is still much to be discovered, from cities to towns to villages to countryside and forests. Beyond the city there is the rest of England, including many havens for many sorts of people.

Scotland, Wales, and Ireland

The United Kingdom and neighboring Ireland are still mutant friendly, for now at least. With the ban of mutants in both on the near horizon, mutants have been scrambling over the isles to find places to hide and flee, and from moors to rocky coasts, across both nations they have tried to make a better place for humans and mutants, and whether they have succeeded or not has yet to be seen.

United States

Outside of the New York City area, there are other mutants living and existing, as well as those on the run from the government. From Maine to California and beyond, this is where they will be.

The World

Outside of the United States, mutants have had a better chance of living, but the US propaganda is spreading, first to Canada, then Europe, and now beyond. From Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, mutants are being hunted and killed for something they cannot help.
