Occupation: Do-gooder, former teacher, second-in-line for the throne of Spain

Physical Description: Isabella has smooth honey colored skin that is indicative of her Spanish heritage, as well as deep brown eyes. Her hair is very very think and falls in soft chocolate-colored waves to the middle of her back. Occasionally, Isabella also gets light brown highlights put into her hair for a bit of variance in her coloring. Usually, when she is out at public functions she wears her hair up, but she keeps it down at home most of the time.
As a child, Isabella received extensive training in poise. As such, she hols herself with a grace and dignity few people usually have. She always looks strong and sure of herself, though it's often that her eyes are sparkling with happiness and a smile is always quick to her lips, especially when he husband, Nathan, is around. She discards much of her formal, straight-backed aspect when at home but old habits die hard. Even in a casual setting, Isabella automatically looks like person who knows exactly who she is and what she's doing. This comes almost as much from her own personality as it does from her being groomed to one day be queen of Spain.
Isabella generally wears soft, feminine looking clothing. She doesn't have more than five pairs of jeans, and even these look classy and feminine when paired with one of her blouses. Isabella usually wears a nice blouse with a pair of pants or a skirt. She also wears lovely dresses for some of her charity events and beautiful ballgowns for formal Royal events.

Spain - The most beautiful country in the world, if you were to ask her. She loves London, and more than that she loves being wherever Nathan is happy, but Spain will always be the most dear to her heart.
The Museum and House of El Grecco in Toledo - Toledo is own of Isabella's favourite cities, if she had to pick favourites. She loves the architecture and culture, and most of all the extensive collection of paintings by El Grecco.
Jardines des Sabatini - Isabella can remember herself is a lavish yellow gown as a little girl, running through the maze in the gardens after a stuffy Royal function. Her sisters chasing after her is one of her most cherished memories.
The seaside - No matter where she is, the beautiful beaches of Spain or at the edge of the cold, restless waters of England, Isabella loves the seaside. Something about smelling the ocean on the breeze makes her feel calm and happy.
Dislikes: Discrimination, of any kind, not just mutants
People who flaunt their wealth or titles
Loosing her clothes when she phases
Injustice
Not being able to do anything about a situation
Sour candy
Battered fish
Not having enough time to do what she needs to do
Computers - She believes that they hate her, so she gets to hate them back
Personality: Isabella has a fun, fierce, feisty personality that has other people laughing and having fun with her, no matter however formal they may have though they should be with a princess. She has a natural charisma and a generally joyful spirit that people just seem to take to. She flies about in a flurry when she is doing something, going from one task to another with speed that leaves her exhausted by the time she has finished doing what she's doing. Although she is a touch too exuberant, high-spirited, and nice for some people, people generally like to be around her.
Although Isabella can be a little flighty if she's not interested in something, once she gets interested she absolutely throws herself into what she is doing. If she truly cares about something or really wants something she will go through hell or high water to get it. She absolutely does not like to accept defeat even if she could be served better by doing that. Isabella will most often stick through to the bitter end.
She also genuinely cares about helping people. After retiring from her teaching position Isabella threw herself into her volunteer work just like she throws herself into everything that she actually cares about. It hurts Isabella's heart to see other people suffering and she does everything she can possibly to to help end this suffering. She feels that it is her duty, not just as a Princess but as a person, to help. Isabella knows that she has the resources to do so and she feels that it would be fundamentally wrong to not do so.
History: Princess Isabella of Spain was born to Alejandro, the Prince of Asturias, Crown Prince of Spain and heir to the throne. Her birth was a cause for immense celebration as she was the King's only son's first child. From the moment she was born, she was also second-in-line to the throne. It was quite possible, if their were no male heirs to displace her later on, that she would one day become Queen of Spain.
Her father was the first and only son of King Raủl Juan of Spain. He had been surrounded by a gaggle of girls growing up. He had been born first, making his claim to the throne automatic and not up for displacement and five girls had been born after him. So, when he and his wife had produced a daughter and not a male heir, he cared not a bit if he would ever have one. From the first time that Alejandro held her, he was absolutely enchanted with his first daughter, Isabella.
In the next few years Isabella was joined by two sisters, Sofía and Antonietta. They received tutors, when they were school age, that were just as good as Isabella's but they were not so vigorously trained as her in other matters. After three girls had been born it just didn't look like their would be a male heir born. So, it was assumed that she would one day be Queen of Spain. She was often given lessons on poise, diplomacy, and extra language courses including English, French, and Italian. She received these lessons at a very young age and was expected to live up to somewhat of a higher standard than that of her sisters.
When she was twelve her parents received a surprise, the Princess of Asturias was once again pregnant. Briefly, when the announcement was made, talk came of a male heir but that was not to be. It was soon revealed that it was yet another sister and Isabella was still firmly second-in-line to the throne. When Lucinda was born, she was regarded as somewhat of a miracle child as it was known that her mother was too old to bear any more children. So, Lucinda was spoiled by her whole family from the moment she was born, including her oldest sister Isabella. It was the first and not the last time that Isabella would feel that there was something so absolutely important she had to devote herself to it. Isabella loved Lucinda and, even as a little twelve year old girl, would have done anything for her. It was around that time that Isabella's mutation manifested. After a long day of lessons Isabella had been running to her room so that she could change in time for her fencing lessons. She had been so distracted that she ran towards a wall only realizing it right before she hit. A second later she emerged on the other side, rematerialized and realized she had no clothes on at all. It was a most embarrassing experience, and Isabella had barely gotten to her room without someone seeing her.
Fast forward six years and Isabella was ready to go to college. By that time she fully understood that she would be Queen at some point. Her parents, like most Spaniards, were Catholic so there was no chance of a divorce, and her mother was too old to have any more children. Their would be no male heirs to displace her, Isabella would one day rule Spain. So, it was with that thought in mind that she requested to go to Cambridge. She was absolutely loyal to her family and her country, but she wished to escape the rigors of royal life for a few years until it was necessary to come back. Reluctantly, not wanting to see their first child going off to a completely different country, her parents allowed her to traverse to England and study at Cambridge.
After graduating form Cambridge with a degree in Philosophy she decided to put her love of children and her language skill to good use by teaching Spanish at a London elementary school. Isabella enjoyed watching the children become better and better at Spanish and loved the chance to use her first language in every day life. After five years teaching Isabella met a kind and extremely funny lawyer. She had always thought of lawyers as the stuffy type before, but Isabella quickly fell in love with the wonderfully smart Nathan MacDonald. They found out about each other's royal status as soon as they started dating, even though they hadn't when they had first met, but they continued to date and eventually became engaged.
The wedding was extremely lavish and grand, with almost every new agency, the King of England, the King of Spain, and all of their family watching Nathan, Baron MacDonald of Wick married Princess Isabella of Spain. Isabella has since retired from teaching and now devotes herself to her charities and volunteer work in her never ending quest to help those who suffer. She loves doing this volunteer work and she loves being married to Nathan even more. Her voulenteer work as well as her beauty and the obvious devotion to her family shown by her frequent visits have endeared her to the people of Spain but Nathan wanted to stay in London and as she likes London as well she agreed. She currently lives in there with Nathan and is hiding her mutation.
Power: Ghost-like Form Isabella can phase into an intangible form that looks something like a ghost, as it has a white tinge and is transparent. Unfortunately, when she phases into this form her clothes fall off as she cannot phase them with her. Isabella can't phase
anything with her when she is in her ghost-like form. For example, Isabella would not be able to reach into a safe and grab a piece of paper or something. In this form she can go through walls and travel extremely fast. Her ghost-like form is somewhat less visible to the human eye than a regular body, but unless it is extremely dark out she can be seen. So, when Isabella is in this form she has to pay attention to where she's going and who could see her. She is less likely to be seen if she is going very very fast, but she has noticed that she often burns out faster if she moves at the highest possible speed. She can only last in this phased form for about three to four minutes at which point she will suddenly and uncontrollably shift back into human form. Isabella has found that once this happens it can take several hours until she can phase into her ghost-like form again and a full day until she can move at her highest speed. Also, it takes a bit of concentration to stay in this form, at this point in her life it's fairly natural to her but she does have to keep it in the back of her mind that she needs to stay in said form. So, if a loud noise or bright light were to startle her, Isabella would immediately revert to her human form. She could possibly take up her ghost-like form again, but only if the distraction was gone and she hadn't exceeded her time limit. One more extremely bad aspect to her power is that, if she were to revert to human form when phasing through something Isabella would be stuck, her body materialize around the object, literally becoming part of it. Which could kill her.

RP Sample: It was a wonder that Isabella hadn't thrown a complete fit of nervousness by now. Her stomach was knotted up and her chest was filled with butterflies. She had resorted to pacing and breathing into a paper bag some time ago. Her sisters fluttered around her looking lovely in their bridesmaid dresses, but Isabella couldn't do anything to soothe this attack of nervousness.
Logically, she knew she had nothing to be worried about. Her grandfather had seen to that when he had hired the best wedding planners that money could buy for her. She had wanted to refuse at first but she had been his first grandchild and she was to be Queen of Spain in the future and he had told her he would spare no expense. And he hadn't. She had seen the lavish decorations, the seating for the hundreds of guests and for the hundreds of reporters. But she was still so desperately nervous. She wasn't even sure why she was nervous but she was.
Isabella whirled around, walking in the quick light way that she always did to the mirror for the millionth time. Her hair was still up in perfect curls with the diamond tiara resting elegantly on her head and her makeup hadn't yet been disturbed by her constant paper bag breathing. Her dress was a thing of wonder, perfectly snow white and affixed with lace, he jewelry diamonds. She looked beautiful. So, that also couldn't be the reason why she was nervous. Except, would Nathan think she looked beautiful? Her sisters did, but they were biased, and she did, but she might just being hopeful. What if Nathan hated the way she looked? Isabella took another deep breathing through the paper bag. She was become delusional in her paranoia. Of course Nathan would think she looked beautiful, he always did, or so he always told her.
"Your Highness? It's time." A young aide stood outside the door to the room, looking somewhat nervous to be the one taking her down to the wedding. Isabella took a calming breath, laying the paper bag down at the table and smiling at her sisters. Strengthening her shoulders, Isabella pulled herself together as she walked to entrance to the cathedral, though she couldn't help but walk a little faster than she did when not nervous, which was quite fast. Her sisters all smiled encouragingly at her before going to take their places in the cathedral.
She smiled nervously as her father, Crown Prince of Spain, came up in all his royal regalia and offered his arm. Alejandro said nothing but squeezed her hand gently, which calmed her down quite a bit more than talking to her would have. A flash of panic came over her as the doors opened and she walked into the cathedral. The guest rose as she and her father walked down the isle and whispering about how beautiful their Infanta was took over the crowd. She had always looked the part of a princess, but looked even more amazing now.
The panic subsided at the smile that came over Nathan's face when he saw her. The moment she saw that smile, she calmed down, her heart feeling light and a resplendent smile came over her face as she looked back at him. Nathan had accepted her, mutation and all, and he loved her more than she had thought possible. This was as so many said the best day of her life, even if she had spent the first half of it anxious and pacing. This was worth it, that look on his face was worth it.
