When Eric Mulroney was thrown out by his girlfriend when she found out he was a mutant,
he did not expect to end up at the Guthrie farm, surrounded by children and
teenagers. And he did not expect that he would still be there in hiding six months later.
So now, six months after losing everything he had - his girlfriend, his apartment, his
high paying job, his inheritance, he is stuck fixing leaky pipes, knowing that if
he left that he would be captured and sent away to be executed like any other mutant.
His ex-girlfriend, though, stumbled upon the wrong people. After arriving at her
apartment to find the man gone, the government officials offered her an interesting
proposition - the chance to work with them to bring in her ex-boyfriend, as
well as other mutants on the lamb. She accepted the proposition, becoming a
government agent working to create anti-mutant propaganda as well as hunt down
Eric. In the six months she has been looking, she has found no sign, until recently.
Eric's incident breaking his hand was not smart, but people have begun to realize
that Isaac Martinson (his alias) isn't who he says he is in the small town near the
farm. And eyes have always been on the farm and the high number of children and
teenagers there. This has all caught the eye of Ashlyn, and she plans on bringing Eric
in to pay him back for all the pain he put her through, contaminating her with his
"disease", exposing her to his mutation, ruining her for life.
The government, though, has another plan for Eric Mulroney. After examining his DNA,
left behind at his apartment on his comb, in his razor, on his used coffee cups, they
have decided that he will make a very nice addition to their MUE squad comprising
several mutants held against their will. They seem to think there is more to Eric's
power than even he knows, and they want him under their control. They plan on
using Ashlyn, sacrificing her if they have to, to get their hands on him.
Of course, between the government and Eric is the Guthrie Farm, and the chances Isaac
Martinson might not even be him. They are willing to risk it, though, and within days
they plan on conducting a raid looking for the mutant they have been looking for for
months now, and they will not stop until they have him in their ranks.
