the staff to fill in holes we'd like to see filled, will play important roles in
plots, or are just being selfishly filled because the admins are evil like
that. We give you some info and a suggested PB which can be changed,
and then you are free to fill in whatever else! These characters come
with some history and info, but it's up to you to bring them to life. Please
contact an admin for more information on any of these!

Richard Ellsworth

Alan's second in command and probably best friend, Richard is a
lawyer by trade and a clear choice to one day be a candidate for
senator or even President if he tried. He is a genius undoubtedly with
the perfect family - Harvard educated stay at home wife Molly, sons
Todd and Teddy, daughter Mary Ellen, and a purebred Golden Retriever
for added benefit. Richard's reason to hate mutants - well, he doesn't
have a reason other than it looking good for him in today's time and
place, but so far it has worked. Unbeknown to him, both his wife
and daughter are mutants, sharing the power of clairvoyancy.
Richard doesn't hate mutants - he actually doesn't care - but his own
family is still afraid of him, despite loving him immensely. Of course,
he doesn't know this, but he is quite good at keeping himself in the
dark about reality.

Katya Ruskovitch

Born to Russian immigrants in Edgewater, New Jersey, Katya grew up
firmly believing in the power of the Friends of Humanity; her father
Ivan has been on the Board of Directors since 1987, the year she was
born. Recently graduated from Fordham, Katya has worked in the
press office at the headquarters since June, making quite the good
impression, enough that since after the Attack of October 14th she
has been promoted to Junior Assistant for Alan Spencer, mostly
handling everything that Holly shoves on her. She does it with
quite the gusto, though, enjoying her job and enjoying being able
to hate on mutants with an undying passion, just as she grew up
doing. On weekends she spends her time attending rallies and
protests, and on weekdays she commutes from her neat and tidy
apartment in Hoboken by ferry, acting the sweet and innocent
young lady she always pretends to be. The trouble is, as nasty as
she can act, she really is just as innocent as she otherwise appears.

Miranda Reinhold-Spencer

Miranda is the ex-wife of Alan Spencer, and in fact they met all those
years ago in her native San Diego at a Friends of Humanity meeting.
An ardent mutant hater, she is currently engaged to a Wall Street
banker now that she has been divorced from Alan for about two years.
She loves Colin, but she rarely makes time specifically for him, instead
spending time lavishing herself with gifts and pampering, and leaving
him money to buy dinner. Despite her hatred of mutants and love
of her employer, she still cuts out of work early on a daily basis, caring
more about herself than anyone else in the world.

Juliet Rose

The daughter of a black mother and a white father, Juliet was raised
on the Upper West Side among the glitz and glamour of the rich and
famous - the perks of being the only child of New York's most famed
theater producer. Through a now ex-boyfriend, Juliet was brought
into the Friends of Humanity fold about ten years ago now, eventually
rising through the ranks from lowly assistant to the Director of the
Youth Corps, the Friends of Humanity's suborganization for those
eighteen and younger. A woman who appears to be perky and
extremely spunky, she harbors a dark side - she is a member of a
"death squad", a very secretive unit that carries out mercenary
missions against mutants. Juliet has killed more than one mutant
or mutant sympathizer, including a twelve year old boy, but she has
not let that smear her. Instead, she keeps her perky facade up and
pretends she's as straight laced as they go.

Holly Winslow

Alan's fiercely loyal and somewhat obsessive compulsive assistant-
slash-secretary, Holly is a woman with a purpose in life fueled by an
immense fear of the unknown, in her case mutants, anything not
American, and French food. Holly is your typical WASP - she was
born and raised in Ohio, attended Mount Holyoke on a swimming
scholarship, and was hired by the Friends of Humanity the day after
she graduated from college. She's more than happy to live in poverty
to do what she does, and it doesn't hurt that she is rather smitten with
Alan Spencer himself. Although she isn't the brightest bulb in the
box, she makes up for it with heart and dedication, even if it is a
dedication to propagating hatred and fear for others.

Imogene Fabiani

29 // Mutant // Undercover Operative // Friends of Humanity, Brotherhood // New York // Christina Hendricks
Imogene stumbled upon the life she has now. She never meant to
become a double agent, working for both the Friends of Humanity
and the Brotherhood, both behind her doting husband Jackson's back.
With the ability to cast a glamor over herself to disguise herself to the
eye (not to the touch or x-ray however), she is the perfect person to
go undercover, working with the Brotherhood despite her feeling that
mutants really are scum that should be destroyed, instilled in her by
her husband since their wedding five years ago. In fact, the Friends
of Humanity knows her status as a mutant, but they allow her to go
free in exchange for spying on the Brotherhood, all behind the back of
Jackson. She is afraid of Jackson finding out about what she is, and the
fact she is a mutant, so she has never told him that she is not sterile,
just taking birth control as not to have him face bringing a mutant
child into the world.

Tomine Aasgaard

Approaching her eighteenth birthday, Tomine has recently moved
from Norway to New York with her parents and brother, and hates
every second of it. A mutant with the power of superhuman hearing,
she hides her ability because of her mother Marte's job as the press
officer with the Friends of Humanity. Tomine hates being associated
with the Friends of Humanity, and tries her best to make her younger
brother Tor and her father Kjetil realize that what Marte is doing is
a terrible mistake. She hates being forced to attend meetings of the
Friends of Humanity, but tolerates it to avoid the inevitable rows if
she doesn't, and also to see the rather cute guy who looks as miserable
as she feels. Little does she know that he is Colin Spencer, the only son
of the organization's President.

Glory Spencer

The eldest of five daughters of Betram Spencer II (Navy Commander
and second in command at Annapolis) and his rather airy wife Natalie,
Glory was brought into the Friends of Humanity at birth thanks to
the efforts of her uncle Alan. Despite her father's efforts, Glory was
not cut out for the military life, instead taking up theater and
eventually receiving early admission to NYU to study drama. With
sisters named Victory, Honor, Patience, and Liberty, she has always
felt like an odd duck out, leading her to a rather interesting life
underneath the surface including parties, sneaking out, and lots of
underage drinking. Now that she has come to New York, her family
has shoved her into the Friends of Humanity Youth Corps for one
last year, hoping she will give up the life of art for something more
beneficial to the world. What they don't know is that she is a very
gifted precognitive, able to see events months in the future. She even
saw the explosion but was too afraid to tell anyone. Instead, she
simply keeps her mouth shut and refuses to think about it, attributing
her visions to drugs and dreams.

Sylvie Marie Bertuzzi

The bottle blonde daughter of a stock manager, Sylvie Marie grew up raised
by her nanny and not by her never-present parents. An only child,
Sylvie Marie was forced to learn French, the piano, sailing, fencing,
and any other number of activities from the time she could walk - to
this day she remains the top fencer among under 18 girls in the US.
Before she heads off to Harvard next year, she has made it clear that
she wishes to be elected President of the Youth Corps. A tiny girl who
packs a punch, Sylvie Marie is a deadly and vicious little Friends of
Humanity member, very possibly the next Alan Spencer in a sense.
For a seventeen year old, she is a fiend, the type you see on Gossip
Girl who dresses in the finest of fashions and steps on anyone and
everyone who gets in her way. Sylvie Marie is a bitch, plain and
simple, and she's not afraid to kill to get what she wants.

Oliver Eddy

25 // Human // Hitman // Friends of Humanity // England // Nicholas Lemons
A somewhat typical British thug, Ollie Eddy is a man with secrets -
hiding the fact you're a member of the royal family is one of those
secrets. The illegitimate son of Prince Edward (hence Eddy), Ollie
could be living the life of luxury if he wanted to, but he's much too
content murdering people for a living. Heavily tattooed, Ollie works
as a private contractor of sorts for the Friends of Humanity in England
seeing as how many Brits don't want to become vigilantes it seems.
For a fee, he murders people, simple. A big brawny man like himself
makes a great killer, and he's rather skilled at what he does, even
throwing in a bit of torture if it's asked of him. He has no hard feelings
against mutants - work is work, after all. Ollie is a rather sneaky
individual, and he has trouble letting ANYONE (least of all his mum)
get close to him.

Calliope Hester

23 // Human // Housewife // Friends of Humanity // England // Barbara Meier
The former Calliope Yancey of Leeds, Callie (as she is known) has been
a member of the Friends of Humanity since her parents joined in 2000
with the global spread of the organization. In fact, her parents used
her without her knowing, offering her to be something of a sacrificial
lamb to draw out the elusive Beast of Ruislip. What actually happened
was Calliope fell in love with a man she didn't actually know was that
man, got married, and is now two months pregnant with his child
despite him being almost twice her age. She is a calm, quiet, reserved
girl who has a soft spot for bad boys, but Daniel treats her well, and she
is well loved. She studied Literature in college and has a soft spot for
Yeats; while Daniel is away on "business trips" she stays at home and
reads. Like many young adults, she is not in the Friends of Humanity
because of her free will, she is there because of her parents' choice. She
has incurred the anger of people on both sides of the mutant war as of
late - she married the bad guy to one side, and she has stolen the
attentions of a very, very important mutant to the other.

Lillian Stanton

It's tough to get a job in law in London, as Lilly Stanton
well knows. Having taken a law degree at Cambridge University,
Lilly did what all aspiring barristers do, and applied for a year-
long pupillage at one of London's Inns of Court. She failed, and
resorted to looking for work in other legal fields. She managed to
snare a relatively well paid job as a paralegal with the Friends of
Humanity, and is generally a legal grunt, doing little more than
the job of legal secretary. Lilly dreams of one day making it as a
barrister, where she could finally make her mark prosecuting
the mutant scum. Lilly's brother was maimed in a mutant attack
when he was just eleven, and she is just waiting to get her revenge,
any way she can.

Government

George McAllister

54 // Human // US Senator // Government // New York // Jeff Goldblum
Once upon a time George McAllister was just an average junior senator
from Minnesota. He had a wife, a beautiful daughter named Marianne,
and a high powered law practice in Minneapolis. Then he found out his
thirteen year old daughter was a mutant. After he paid to have her
murdered, McAllister went on to create the McAllister Act and then
the McAllister Commission, the most powerful, sweeping changes in
recent US history. McAllister makes no amends for his extreme hatred
for mutants, and to this day, having lost his wife to her own grief,
most of his friends and family to his own greed, he will stop at nothing
to see every last mutant exterminated.

Mercedes Hernandez

27 // Human // Intelligence Expert // Government // New York // Zoe Saldana
Mercedes is a charming, flirtatious young lady with her Masters in
Mathematics from Harvard, a stint at the NSA behind her, and a
love of men, men, and more men. In fact, she has had one night stands
with any number of men, such as Eric Mulroney during a drunken
night out (without his girlfriend's knowledge). On loan from her
position at Fort Meade, Mercedes is a Cuban-American who is actually
a double agent for a Pro-Mutant Organization led by Simon Avery,
and on more than one occasion she has provided false information to
protect mutants. As it turns out, her ex-boyfriend was a mutant
captured and murdered by the McAllister Commission in 2005, and
she is just now able to get her revenge for his death.

Dante Harvey

35 // Human // Research Physician // Government // New York // Taye Diggs
Dante Harvey is a powerful man from meager conditions. Being the
son of an HIV-infected drug user in Boston, he went on to Harvard
where he graduated with a 4.0 in chemistry and went on to med
school at the same place, specializing in neuroscience. At the same
time, he became a rather notorious member of the Friends of
Humanity after the police uncovered that his mother's drug dealer
was an empath who lured his clients in with his abilities. Dante is
a staunch advocate of maiming and murdering mutants by both
legal and illegal means - he does not deny that he has killed a few on
his own. Still, he is a top research physician, currently working
under Collette Masters on the Trinity Project, even though he believes
himself to be quite above her level and the rightful leader for the
project.

Alistair Reynolds

38 // Human // FBI Agent // Government // New York // Gerard Butler
From the backwoods of Appalachian Virginia, Alistair Reynolds
joined the FBI straight out of undergrad at UVA and rose through the
ranks almost immediately. He has since been singled out as a top field
agent, especially in the area of mutant crime. Alistair has no hard
feelings about mutants other way, it's just business after all, and a
business he is quite good at. Still a bachelor thanks to his extensive
work ethic, Alistair hides his dreams of settling down and thankfully
doesn't have to deal with his mother's pressures for him to get married
since her death four years ago (they didn't get along). Alistair has
recently been assigned the case of the events pertaining to an
underground mutant crime circuit, particularly the capture and
arrest of one Joshua Foley, which has brought him to New York, fresh
on the young man's trail.

Jackson Vonnegut

35 // Human // Director, Office of Intelligence // Government // New York // Will Arnett
Jackson might be a funny man if it wasn't for a cold blooded obsession
with destroying mutants, mostly born out of jealousy that he isn't one
himself. A CIA officer (former spy) on loan to the McAllister Commission,
Jackson heads up the Office of Intelligence, also specializing in handling
informants, undercover agents, and other assorted individuals. He
always had a lifelong dream to be a spy, but on his first assignment to
retrieve Russian secrets he almost got himself killed. Since then, he's
been at a desk much to his hatred, even if the quiet life has gotten him
his perfect wife (albeit one who can't get pregnant). Jackson is the
person responsible for having uncovered Mutant Echo, the future
basis of Project Trinity, as well as arranging for a certain government
agent to unknowingly be dangled in front of him as live bait...

Colette Masters

29 // Human // Lead Scientist, Project Trinity // Government // New York // Rose Byrne
Something of a scientific prodigy, Colette Masters, Doctor Colette
Masters, no less, has recently been appointed to head up the McAllister
Commission's highly classified Project Trinity. Intense and rather
cold and withdrawn, Colette has made it her mission in life to ensure
that all mutants are destroyed. She hasn't always hated mutants,
however - Colette used to purposely date members of the Brotherhood
while studying at Stanford, as a rebellion against her parents, who
were card-carrying members of the Friends of Humanity. Her love
affair with mutantkind came to an abrupt end, however, when she was
twenty-four, and, persuaded by her then-boyfriend to get involved in
a Brotherhood operation to blow up her local Friends of Humanity
offices, she ended up creating the bomb that would maim her father
and kill her mother and brother. Now she seeks revenge, and will do
whatever it takes to ensure that mutants are never again able to
cause harm to innocent humans.

Lucy O'Neill

27 // Human // Nurse // Government // New York // Rachel McAdams
A McAllister Commission nurse currently assigned to assess mutants
at New Smyrna, Lucy is a bright, vivacious young woman whose
allegiance to the government is only because of the nice fat paycheck
she receives, most of which goes home to Staten Island to pay for her
mom's treatment for early-onset Alzheimer's. In fact, she had wanted
to become a dermatologist before her mother got sick while she was in
her first year of medical school, but she was forced to drop out and
eventually get her R.N. certification three years ago, after devoting
three years to taking care of her widowed mother along with her now
married sister Heather. Lucy has resigned herself to thinking that
because of her family life, her lack of friends or a social life, and her
devotion to her job in order to make money she will never meet a man
or have a family of her own. In the meantime, she will enjoy a good
book at night and a glass of wine, the occasional one night stand,
and focus on maybe getting through her twelve hour shifts doling out
power-suppressing drugs to mutants.

Valentina Gregoreva

44 // Human // Deputy Mayor // Government // New York // Julianne Moore
The dedicated, long suffering deputy to Bryce Carter, Valentina is
a first generation America, born in Moscow but raised in Brooklyn to be
an overachieving, hyperstudious bitch. With a bachelors from
Harvard and a Masters in Public Administration from MIT under her
belt, she expected that being appointed as Bryce's deputy would be an
honorable role, not meaning she would do all of his work herself and
come home to her empty apartment at 1 AM six nights a week, forced
to pick up his slack. She admits to anyone who asks that she is cold
hearted and will do anything to get ahead in the world, but now that
she has gotten somewhere, she knows that Bryce is holding her back.
If Bryce were to say...drop dead, be murdered, anything along those
lines, she would not mourn, instead prepare herself to jump into his
shoes and be the best mayor that New York has ever seen, proving that
one does not need money to do a good job.

Sebastian Oort

31 // Mutant // NYPD Detective // Government // New York // Alexander Skarsgard
The partner of Garrison Harper, Seb is a fiercely independent and very
proud Dutch-American, having moved to the United States when he
was six from his native Rotterdam. After having initially studied
Industrial Design in college, he ended up choosing to be a cop, despite
having a rather interesting mutation - the power to switch genders
at will, or in times of stress, inadvertently. Because of this, Seb is
pansexual and ready and willing to have sex with anything that
moves, but at the same time afraid of commitment and what potential
romantic connections might think about what he is - not that he is a
mutant, but because that he's only fairly certain that he's really a
male at heart. His closet is filled with clothes for men and women, and
the only person who knows his full identity is his sister who works in
the entertainment industry.

Aurelia Vance

27 // Human // Lab Technician // Government // New York // Rachel Nicholls
An ex-Canadian exiled from her native land by her now ex-husband,
Quebec-native Aurelia has been stranded in the US since her shotgun
wedding fell through after she miscarried in her eighth month a year
and a half ago. Despite holding a Masters in Chemistry, the only job
she could get was as a New Smyrna laboratory tech/assistant seeing
as how her ex is a known and wanted mutant by the name of Ryan
Vance. A highly competent individual who feels that she is wasting
her life, she is still depressed after losing her husband and the child
she so desperately wanted, as well as sick and tired of the United
States. She wants to start over, and in her life she had taken on the
mindset (to protect herself) that mutants are just lab dogs she is to
ignore. Aurelia is a native Francophone.

Edward Davies

50 // Human // Commander, District One MEU // MEU // New York // Sean Bean
A strict, spiteful ex-Marine Colonel, Edward has recently retired to
join the MEU as commander, a position he has held for three years now.
He is a brash, strong willed man that does not take bullshit from
anyone, and mercy is just a word that he never uses. Mutants are
scum to him, as well as most of humanity, and he hates almost
everyone he has ever run into. He is secretly a member of the Friends
of Humanity after his wife was murdered by a mutant, but ever
since then he has just kept to himself and focused solely on his job,
nothing more.

Margaret Prince

28 // Human // Third-in-Command, MEU // MEU // New York // Yvonne Strahovski
An ex Marine sergeant who left the military behind after being
injured by a roadside bomb in Iraq, Prince (as she is called by everyone
inside and outside the MEU) is a tough as nails, mutant hating woman
who blames her horrible lower body scarring and exile from the Corps
on the mutant who had planted the bomb, as well as the death of a
friend in high school. She pretends to hate Martin Ridley, but in
secret she idolizes him to an almost obsessed level, leaving her with
a supreme amount of hate in her heart for Alix Smith, whom she sees
as someone who is a threat to the entire world because of her power
and the way she "hurt" Martin. Prince does not know, but she still
suffers from PTSD when faced with extreme threats.

Bryce Carter

52 // Mutant // Mayor of New York City // Government // New York // Stanley Tucci
Bryce Carter, the heir to the Carter Gems fortune, also inherited
the title of NYC mayor from his late father, the great David Carter who
was responsible for much of the change for the better in New York City.
Bryce, though, hasn't been responsible for much except keeping the city
at pretty much the same level as it was when he was elected in 2008.
Divorced with no children, Bryce has only recently come to learn that
he is a mutant, gifted (or cursed) with the power of persuasion. He
can reach into someone's mind and convince them that whatever he
says is true. When he ran for mayor, he won with 97% of the vote, a
clear sign that something was up, but he has never been investigated.
Bryce has no fears of ever being uncovered - he can simply weasel his
way out of it. In the meantime, he will enjoy his romances with much
younger women, getting bribes, and making a mockery of the electoral
process. He doesn't hate being a mutant like most of his kind. In fact,
he quite revels in it each and every day.

Delilah Fitzhugh

33 // Human // Doctor // Government // New York // Elizabeth Banks
A biophysicist and researcher on mutant abilities, Dr. Delilah Fitzhugh
is herself the daughter of a mutant, a man that was one of the first
killed at New Smyrna. That has not stopped her from working there
and assisting in murdering mutants daily, but Delilah has her reasons.
Specifically, she is working to avenge her father's death by slowly but
surely tampering with systems and programs to make things easier
for mutants to escape or riot. She knows that this is a recipe for getting
herself killed or arrested or whatnot, but she sees it as worth the risk.
She is friends with Lucy O'Neill in the pals-in-the-cafeteria sense, and
recently she has been assigned to ascertain the viability of the Trinity
Project, as well as possibly design a brain implant capable of controlling
mutant subjects by remote. Needless to say, she is not thrilled.

Melody Park

24 // Human // MEU Agent, USAF 1st Lieutenant // MEU // New York // Maggie Q
A first generation American daughter of Korean immigrants to Atlanta,
after watching her sister get murdered she vowed revenge on mutants
everywhere, even after the "mutant" ended up being a normal human.
She graduated near the top of her class at the Air Force Academy, was
assigned to the Military Police, and quickly proved herself to be an
adept leader, until she heard about the opening in the MEU. Melody
has made it clear that she is out for revenge despite the evidence that
mutants have never actually wronged her, and her expertise in
martial arts, especially hand to hand combat and Tae Kwon Do, she
believes will serve her well. She is still a rookie, though, and she hasn't
grown used to the life that is in store for her, not yet.

Chiba Nduka

42 // Human // MI:5 Agent // Government // England // Djimon Hounsou
Chiba, a first generation Briton son of Nigerian immigrants, has
dedicated his life to serving the government, and since being named
head of Britain's Mutant Terrorism Unit (the smaller, less-powerful
equivalent of the US's McAllister Commission), he had thrown himself
into the task, even though he has no strong feelings for mutants either
way. His specialty has always been psychological investigation,
holding a rather weighty graduate diploma from Cambridge, but
Chiba has given up a lot to get to the place he is now. He's forgone love
and family and the fame and fortune he could have had on the outside
for the secretive and elusive world of spies and government drama.
And he enjoys every second of it. When he was younger, though, he
was rejected for service with MI:6 as a Secret Agent because they saw
him as being "too obvious" - an African man with a very polished and
well bred British accent.

Marina de Vries

27 // Human // Special Agent // Government // England // Natalie Portman
Special Agent Marina de Vries, an American CIA officer assigned
to work with MI:5 to introduce the American McAllister model to
Great Britain, is a distinguished Cornell alumna who thought that by
joining the CIA she could be the spy she always dreamed of. Instead,
she works at a desk in London biting her nails while dealing with
her superiors on the phone daily, updating them on how things are
proceeding. She does very little at her job, leaving her a rather
disgruntled employee who secretly harbors a crush on Chiba Nduka,
lives for the news of bombings and death on the news (having a rather
weird fascination with death), and hasn't told anyone she is engaged
to be married back in America to a man she doesn't love other than
his money and power. In fact, she can't readily talk about him since
he really is a spy, but in England she has taken the ring off her finger
and has put herself on the market looking for one night stands and
a little fun, even accidentally getting herself involved with the
mutant crowd she has been sent to repress...

Alexander Bennett

56 // Human // Home Secretary // Government // England // Alan Rickman
Alexander Bennett is one of the major proponents of anti-mutant
legislation in the United Kingdom. As Secretary of State for the Home
Department, he's conducted multiple offical visits to the American
facilities and various officials. Nearly 15 years ago, he blamed the
disappearance and suspected murder of his daughter, Alexandra, on
the Brotherhood. The murder has been one of the most driving factors
of the UK actions against mutants. However, as one of the first to take
action in the UK, he is a man with more than a few skeletons in his
closet. The daughter that was supposedly murdered is rumored to
have shown back up in London and Alexander seems all the more
adamant against mutants claiming that this girl is just another trick
that the mutants put forward to decieve them. Ruthless, educated,
and calculating his has been known to take part in interrogations on
multiple occasions. He runs MI-5 with straightforward calculation.
The organization has flourished under his residence in office.

Ian Alexandrios

A secret agent for MI:6, Ian is a Greek-Brit whose loyalty to his family has
been ruined for years, ever since he joined the government and gave
up on his family's dreams and wishes for him. He still regrets it to this

on everything he ever knew. Still, he is a strong willed, dedicated man
who has a new assignment - prepare to go undercover into the
Brotherhood to find and assist in the capture of Daniel Hester. He's
normally not a worrisome man, but the fact they are sending him
armed with only a hidden handgun and no mutant powers against
someone who has killed dozens without ever lifting a finger makes him
a bit nervous. Still, he's being forced to tell his girlfriend Jezebel
that he's been reassigned to Hong Kong for six months, unknowing that
she's a Brotherhood associate of Daniel Hester.

Georgina Sanders

The daughter of a working class couple from Manchester, Georgina
is something of a "baby spy", joining MI-5 relatively late. Having
gained a first class bachelor's degree in World Politics from
Manchester University, her aim was to stand as a candidate for the
Conservative Party by the age of twenty-five. However, the murky
world of party politics left her somewhat jaded, and, by the age of
twenty-eight. Georgina was ready for something new. She was
introduced to an associate of Alexander Bennett at an anti-mutant
rally in London, who suggested she apply for MI-5 if she wanted a
new challenge. She has been with the agency now for three years,
and working as a field operative for just over six months. Her main
aim within the agency is to join the Mutant Terrorism Unit, and
work alongside such notable agents as Chiba Nduka and Ian
Alexandrios, but she knows that it will be a long time coming yet...

Nathan MacDonald

A cousin in the royal family and now the Baron MacDonald of Wick,
his hometown in the far north of Scotland, Nathan was raised as a
knight in shining armor by his mother, the sister of the future Queen
of England Princess Georgia, and his Scottish lawyer father, a direct
descendant of William Wallace. After completing his law degree at
Oxford with highest honors, Nathan moved to London to work in the
field of human rights, eventually being appointed to the House of Lords
in 2006. Since 2003, however, he has dated the younger Isabella
Perez, the granddaughter of the King of Spain and a royal in her own
right. In 2008 in a lavish ceremony covered by almost every news
agency in the world, Nathan and Isabella were married in a Catholic
ceremony in Spain, attended by the King of England, the King of Spain,
and the royal families of all of Europe. The couple now call London
home, even as Isabella rests second in line to the throne of Spain after
her father, the Crown Prince, while being a mutant in hiding. He has
become an activist for mutants because of her, but no matter his
efforts, so far it seems as if England will follow in the footsteps of the
US on January 1, 2010.

Paxton Wright

Paxton Wright is something of a political rock star, a man well on his
way towards future international power one day thanks to his good
looks and way he connects naturally with the people of the UK. A
native Scot, Paxton also has popularity because of his unabashed
loyalty to the Friends of Humanity, of which he has been a member
since its introduction to Great Britain years ago. In fact, Paxton has
used his political and illegal contacts (and many bribes from his father's
wealth as a banking tycoon) to hide a seedy past that included being
a member of a mutant hunting group, a collective of men and women
that would roam the nation brutally murdering mutants of all ages,
including a fourteen year old girl whose mutation left her a bright
blue color. Even though that is mostly behind him, Paxton
still harbors an extreme dislike for mutants, making him a target of
many Brotherhood plots.

Hellfire Club

Max von Richter

A Dartmouth grad with his law degree straight from the halls of Yale,
Maxwell von Richter has the name of German nobility despite his
family having been stripped of their rank even before the fall of
monarchy in Germany. Max's family does not particularly have
money, but what they do have is a reputation dating back to the
times where they were the kings of the United States Senate, sending
five of their sons to the halls of Congress from three separate states.
Max hoped to follow in his father's footsteps as a Senator from
New Hampshire, but instead he has allowed his own fear of his
mutant power - the fact he has gills - to stop him from that dream.
Two years ago he was hired by Emma Frost to become a private
lawyer for Hellfire Industries, serving as a legal advisor to the
Hellfire Club on matters of judicial importance. Max is something
of a wimpy man, keeping to the background where nobody will
notice there is something wrong with him, despite the fact his gills
are hidden beneath layers of clothes at all times.

Milena Petrovic

The granddaughter of an exiled Serbian Prince, Milena entered the
club scene of New York at the ripe age of sixteen and has become one
of the most famed socialites that inhabit the city. She can be seen at
parties, fashion shows, and openings for anything and everything,
her only real claim to fame her ability to pop up at anything as well
as her future riches once her grandparents kick the bucket. Milena
was only recently recruited into the Hellfire Club, but her abilities
in psychometry have made her invaluable to Emma Frost and her
cohorts. Able to read the past by touching objects, she refuses to
acknowledge that she is simply being used, instead insisting that
they are her friends and only have her best interests in mind. She's
not entirely bright and doesn't have an ounce of common sense, but
Milena has networked her way to greatness. On the inside she is
full of insecurities and self-esteem issues, but she covers it with
layers of makeup and expensive clothes and drinks away her issues
on a nightly basis.

Esmeralda Gutierrez

Coming from meager beginnings in southern Mexico, Esmeralda
was discovered by model scouts when she was fourteen. From there
she began her whirlwind life of world travel, steamy affairs with
any number of men, appearing on over 100 covers, and using her
long legs to get anything and everything she wanted. At the same
time, she used her manipulative abilities - as well as her mutant
ability to erase memories - to weasel her way through society and
into the eyes of Emma Frost. In the seven years she has been
working with Emma, she has become a White Rook, but she has too
many stars in her eyes, and too many dreams of the power she could
have if she was just able to take Emma Frost down, despite her apparent
respect and adoration of her leader. Esmeralda wants EVERYTHING
that Emma Frost has, and unlike some people, she is not afraid to
do what it takes to make sure that one day she gets it.

Ethan Underwood

The British bad boy of the Hellfire Club, Ethan makes his home wherever
he pleases, occasionally visiting New York and his penthouse there
(giving himself time to romance the ladies of the organization), but

headquarters for his father Davidson Underwood's international arms
manufacturing company. Ethan could care less about guns when he
has a rather intriguing power of his own, a form of aerokinesis where
he can create a vacuum around him, sucking all the air out of the
bubble while he can survive thanks to super enhanced lung capacity
leaving his victims to die or suffer or whatnot. Ethan is the epitome
of the rich playboy, and he has something of a stable of women at his
disposal, from models to actresses to the daughter of the Prime Minister
if he so chose to give her a ring. He is a cruel bastard, but that has
never stopped him from being popular with the women, even if they
are only one night stands to be conquered.

Liam Donavon

Liam Donavon's family has been powerful as far back as many people can
recall, back to the days before Queen Elizabeth I. Descended from kings
and queens, Liam's family took the business route and ended up in the
world of oil. Liam was born into money and power, and ever since his
father died three years ago, he has turned his corporation into one of
the most powerful businesses in the world, and him into one of its richest
men. Of course, he has a secret - the fact he is a mutant does not hurt,
and when his power is clairaudience, the ability to hear specific events
as they happen from across the world. With practice and training, he
has learned to focus it to follow specific people, mostly those who affect
his business decisions. He has recently been given the position of Black
Bishop with the Hellfire Club, a position he finds very nice, but he still
considers himself much higher than Emma Frost ever will be.

Alliance

Sati Pilankar

A geography teacher at PS 321 in Park Slope, Brooklyn, Sati was born
in Pune, Maharashtra, India, her parents devout Hindus but also
devout worshipers of the American way of life. In 1994, the Pilankar
family packed up and moved to Buffalo, New York, where Gajpati
Pilankar took a job as a Professor of Engineering and Ajit Pilankar
became a housewife with the desire to make sure all four of her
children - three sons and daughter Sati - became doctors and marry
good Marathis back in India. Sati went to Harvard as was expected,
but instead she majored in Geography, eventually becoming a
geography teacher. With the power to immerse herself in a self-
generated flame and live (her name was somewhat prophetic it seems)
she has had to live with a number of difficulties, especially since her
fiance is definitely not a good Marathi - more like a good Jew. Still,
she is happy with her life, even if it is extremely difficult.

Xander O'Brien

An electrokinetic with the power to create power surges large enough
to cut the lights out to entire cities (and knock him out for a week),
Xander O'Brien is a first generation Irish-American born and bred in
Brooklyn. He's smart and dedicated to the world of computer science,
working days for a top Fortune 500 company and nights for Simon
Avery's pro-mutant organization, of course masquerading as a human
computer analyst/web designer. With his thick accent, he's done a
damn good job so far of hiding the fact he is a mutant, but he's still
unsure of how much longer can hide what he is since he has to fight
every day to control it. He is almost always static charged, resulting
in almost everyone being zapped when they touch him, but he has
turned it into something of a joke for those who know him. He is an
old Princeton buddy of Eric Mulroney, but hasn't seen him in years,
but he still keeps in contact (through email only) with Ashlyn Parker,
unknowing of her anti-mutant connections and what she did to poor
Eric.

Garrison Harper

40 // Human // NYC Police Detective // Alliance // New York Paul Giamatti
The husband of Veronique, Garrison is something of the enforcer
for the Alliance, even though he tries not to pull his gun or badge
unless completely necessary. A 20 year veteran of the NYC police,
Garrison is a homicide detective, an idea most people laugh at when
they see Garrison in person. He's a short, somewhat pudgy looking
man who grew up on the Upper East Side in a rich Jewish family,
leaving all that behind for the police force and his family's disgust.
Still, he landed himself a beautiful wife, a lovely daughter, Rosa. In
fact, Garrison just puts on the bad cop demeanor for effect - he's
really a nice, sweet guy who loves his family dearly, and while he's
given up on religion, he tries to satisfy the demands of his mother and
at least introduce his daughter to Judaism. He supports his wife as
much as he can, which sometime draws the ire of the department
by vocally supporting mutants.

Evan Rosenfeld

Evan Rosenfeld was born in raised in Park Slope to two somewhat
lapsed Jews, his father a banker and his mother a high school teacher,
an only child. His power - enhanced memory and recall - has helped
him well since it developed after his father's death at age 15. Since
then, he has devoted his life to science, specifically astrophysics. He
received his Ph.D. at Columbia at age 25 and accepted a job as an
adjunct professor at his alma mater last year. Through friends he
met Sati Pilankar and fell in love, proposing to her last New Years in
Times Square. Sati and Evan are a perfect pair even if they do have
different backgrounds and upbringings, but they do have one major
thing in common - they are both mutants and members of the Alliance
since before they met. Evan is not the loud, outgoing type, but he
uses his smarts and his skills to his benefit.

Veronique Richelieu

If most people went around promoting a better understanding of mutants,
they would automatically be tested for being a mutant. In Veronique's
case, her mutation prevents her from being uncovered. Besides her
DNA appearing perfectly human, she can create force fields that protect
her from physical attacks, a shimmery force that surrounds her body
and her body alone. She cannot pass it on to other people, but if she
puts herself in front of others, she can be something of a bullet proof
shield. Veronique is a former model originally from Algeria, the daughter
of a French diplomat and an African merchant's daughter. Having
lived in the United States for almost twenty years now, she has an
American husband and a daughter named Rosa who has inherited
her mutation, but she is still afraid for the future despite being immune
from the government's attempts to capture her.

Rosa Harper

Rosa Harper to most seems like your typical private school student,
her tuition funded by her rich grandparents, but her home life is a
tad different. For one, her family isn't that rich, living in a quaint
two bedroom apartment in Murray Hill with her mother Veronique
and father Garrison. Rosa is a curious, bright, and very artistic young
woman, her paintings being featured across New York City, but she
harbors the knowledge she is a mutant, even though DNA tests show
her as a human thanks to her mutation, inherited from her mother.
Rosa enjoys the Alliance and the companionship it gives her with humans
and mutants alike, and she harbors a rather bad crush on Xander
O'Brien. She's not the jealous sort, but she knows that if anyone ever
hurt her beloved Xander, or stole him away from her despite their
relationship being completely inappropriate and impossible since he
sees her as a bratty kid, she would get very, very angry.

Catherine Woods

34 // Mutant // Director // Alliance // England // Audrey Tautou
Catie Woods has long since flaunted the lack of anti-mutant laws
in England, parading the fact that she is indeed a mutant who can
transform her body into a living liquid form. As the day approaches
for those laws to go into effect, Catie has had to constantly dodge
anti-mutant sentiment and attempts at her life by the Friends of
Humanity to lobby for those laws to be repealed, seeing as how she is
the very, very vocal director of Britain's Alliance for Mutant Relations.
Once upon a time Catie lived in America while attending law school,
before she came to love what she was, and that was where she met
Simon Avery, a man she came to love and care about more than
anyone she had ever met before. With the passing of anti-mutant laws
in America, she had to flee, leaving Simon and Catie to break up, but
she has taken up the banner of the organization he founded in England
even though things look bleak. Catie has vowed however that she will
become a martyr for mutants everywhere if she has to, to show the
world that mutants are no different than humans.

Sophia Woods

60 // Mutant // Housewife/Socialite // Alliance // England // Meryl Streep
The overbearing, extremely protective mother of Catherine Woods,
Sophia was not raised with a silver spoon in her mouth. Originally
from war-torn Northern Ireland, Sophia O'Reilly came to London to
pursue an acting career, only to get married to a rich man and
instead become a London socialite, ditching her thick accent and
exchanging it for the nicest clothes money could buy. Of course, she
had other secrets she couldn't leave behind so easily - such as the fact
she was a mutant with the power of photokinesis. Together with her
husband she gave birth to daughter Catherine, who would eventually
inherit Catherine's X-Gene much to Sophia's dislike, and on top of that
her father's head-strong nature. Sophia is a secret member of the
Alliance, however maintaining her public appearance as a member
of the upper crust of London society, all the while constantly being
forced to remind her daughter that she can't go around constantly
using her powers if she plans on staying alive much longer.

Raj Patel

31 // Human // Geneticist // Alliance // England // Kal Penn
A geneticist who lost his mutant wife to anti-mutant criminals
two years ago, Raj is a brilliant geneticist who for years had worked
on a cure for Hanson-Meyer Syndrome, a disease which led to a wasting
death by the blood being unable to become oxygenated. As a Ph.D.
student at Oxford, he succeeded, resulting in him being an international
celebrity which then brought pressure to his wife Marie, a young French
doctor with a healing touch. She was murdered, and Raj was left
grief-stricken to no ends. He joined with the Alliance in her honor, but
he has left his work behind for something somewhat more sinister,
something that the Alliance would surely not agree to. Raj Patel has
been working on a formula for a mutant cure to "save the innocent" in
Marie's honor. If he succeeds, he believes he will avenge his wife's
death, and he could care less about the consequences.

Fabian Harker

41 // Mutant // Television Newscaster // Alliance // England // Daniel Craig
Charisma simply oozes from the pores of Fabian Harker, one
of Britain's most popular newscasters. That would be because his mutation,
which is an unconscious thing, causes people to instinctively trust him.
Fabian has been aware of his mutation for several years now, and, with
the inevitable introduction of anti-mutant laws in the UK, Fabian is a
clandestine supporter of the Alliance for Mutant Relations. While, publicly
at least, he is permitted to show no bias either for or against mutants, he devotes
what time he can spare into fighting for their rights. The one thing missing
from his life is love, but who has time for love when the future of your
species is at stake?

Jonah Kerrigan

Jonah never planned to be a PA, much less a PA within the Alliance
for Mutant Relations. A finicky, picky boy when growing up, his
fussiness and habitual neatness developed into extremely good
organizational skills, which did not go unnoticed by Fabian Harker
when Jonah was on a work placement at the television studios.
Offered a job by Fabian as his own PA as soon as he graduated from
Nottingham Trent University with a degree in media studies, Jonah
was soon attending Alliance meetings with Fabian, where he came
to the attention of Catie Woods, who quickly saw his value and
poached him as her own PA. Now Jonah is the only one that Catie
trusts to oversee the planning of the more delicate and shady
operations that the Alliance involves itself in, but Jonah is hiding
a secret of his own - he has secretly been feeding information to
the Friends of Humanity...

Genevieve Serrier

The daughter of a French diplomat and his much younger English wife,
Genevieve was raised between homes in London, Paris and Lyon.
A mutant who has the ability to send those she touches into a
short but deep sleep, she hid her mutation from her family until

her safety now that anti-mutant feeling was sweeping the world.
Genevieve moved back to London, where she volunteered for the
Alliance, and is now one of their most outspoken activists. Her
one problem, however, is that she continually falls for the wrong
man, and, right now, Oliver Eddy is just about as wrong as she
could get...

Ryan Vance

The former husband of Aurelia Vance, Ryan is a native New Yorker who
has spent his life on the streets, with the exception of the brief period
he tried to give it all up in the name of love for the girl he had barely

poisoned by jealous ex-lover Abbey Cross), he found himself divorcing
her to keep her safe and returning to the fold. Given the power of
extreme sight (he can see to the level of a pinpoint from 500 yards
away) and enhanced strength, Ryan Vance is one of the McAllister
Commission's most wanted criminals, wanted dead or alive. Ryan is
not a man of desire, he is a man of need, and he does what he does
because it keeps him alive, not because he likes it. He yearns for his
true love Aurelia, but he's vowed to stay away to protect her from
himself.

Abbey Cross

Abbey Cross, real name Victoria Ainsley, comes from a loving, normal home
in New Jersey. On her eighteenth birthday, though, the desire to rebel

assassin for hire Ryan Vance. She joined the Brotherhood, allied
herself with a notorious arms (and occasionally drugs) dealer in the
Bronx, and developed a rather nasty jealousy for Ryan's new love,
the nice and normal Aurelia. When she got pregnant and Ryan
proposed, Abbey used her powers - poison creation from glands beneath
her fingernails - to poison Aurelia and force her to miscarry. Ryan
came back to her, and she thought all was well. She's fiercely in love
with the man who loves his ex-wife, but at the same time she is a cold
blooded killer, just like Ryan used to be until Aurelia gave him the
heart he never had.

Ryuu Kitayama

Ryuu Kitayama never intended to join the Brotherhood, but circumstance
led this straight-laced human rights lawyer down a very unethical
path. After his little sister Yukiko (also known as Vita) was captured
by the government and taken to New Smyrna, he has become an
advocate for the rights of mutants. Secretly, though, he has joined
with the Brotherhood to make sure his beloved kid sister gets out by
any means necessary. A first generation son of Japanese immigrants,
he has always felt torn between two cultures, more so than his sister
ever did. He's proven his worth in the courtroom, though - after his
studies at Columbia, he has already been made a partner at high
powered human rights firm Yancey Courtland Thomas and Scott,
with the chances of adding Kitayama to that long name very likely
in the years to come. His $250,000 a year salary has been spent
recently trying to free his sister unsuccessfully from prison, leading
to him turning to the Brotherhood for help. Power up to player.

Beatrix Potter

Believe it or not, Beatrix Potter is her real name, but after twenty eight
years people still believe she is lying to them. Beatrix, believe it or not,
is a mutant spy for the Brotherhood with the power of being a human
lie detector. It's not very powerful but damn useful, especially now
that she has gotten herself a rather cushy job as a secretary in the
office of the Home Secretary. Beatrix is not your typical mutant
activist - she is a sweet Londoner with a rather kinky sense of humor
and a love of collecting teapots in her tiny flat in Stepney.
Nevertheless, Beatrix can be a rather ruthless individual if given the
opportunity - she is an expert shot with her handgun (illegally
acquired), and she has participated in more than one Brotherhood
mission that involved death. She's quite fearless actually, unless
her teapot collection is threatened. Also, she is quite proud of her
unused accomplishments - she graduated with highest honors with
a graduate degree in Particle Physics from Cambridge when she was
only 22. She uses her term paper on Laser Technology as a paperweight.

Anderson Ullman

47 // Human // Wall Street Financier // Brotherhood // New York // Robert Downey Junior
Anderson Ullman is a brave man indeed. Not only does he
secretly finance the Brotherhood of Mutants, as he sees it as a rather
good investment in the long run, but he is engaged to be married to
Miranda Reinhold-Spencer, the beautiful but capricious ex-wife of the
Friends of Humanity President, Alan Spencer. Despite Miranda being
incredibly beautiful, and the perfect specimen to be his trophy wife, he
still continues a clandestine affair with Jane Whitcroft, the much younger
heiress who seduced him into supporting the efforts of the Brotherhood.
While he would be more than happy to go public with Jane, he sees her as
too plain to be his public partner, and that is where Miranda is an asset.
While he loves her for her looks, and is more than happy to give Miranda
everything she wants, Jane is the one who has a hold on his heart.

Jane Whitcroft

Jane is the daughter of a rather infamous Texas oil tycoon/playboy
and his fourth wife, lost in the shuffle of ten kids all trying to claim
their piece of the inheritance money. Jane is the brightest, the highest
educated (Harvard MBA), and wisest of the bunch, and also the only
mutant, possessing the power of precognition up to a week before an
event happens, barring the series of events being manipulated. While
it is not entirely obvious, she is a secret member of the Brotherhood of
Mutants, her small fortune going to help her friends and allies,
especially since she has been seduced to the idea that maybe one day
mutants can overtake humans and become the dominant race on
Earth. Maybe then her father will remember her name.

Daniel Hester

45 // Mutant // Mutant Terrorist // Brotherhood // England // Clive Owen
Quite possibly the head of the Brotherhood of Mutant's British sector,
Daniel Hester is one of the few people to ever escape from New Smyrna,
right after it opened in 2005. With his power to control the weather
and without the use of drugs strong enough to suppress the powers of
the strongest captives, Daniel created a tornado that destroyed half
the prison and allowed a number of mutants to escape. He fled back
to his native England where he now vowed to continue on with his
mission to make sure mutant rights are given and mutants are
respected worldwide. Daniel has been responsible for a good number
of British mutant-powered terrorist attacks against government
organizations, the Friends of Humanity, etc. The funny thing is that
he also has a family that knows little about his alter life - his young
wife Calliope is oblivious that her beloved husband of six months is
a wanted terrorist. Likewise, he doesn't know she is is a member of
Friends of Humanity sent to lure him out so they could bring him to
justice - all without telling her who he really was. He is known to the
public as the Beast of Ruislip, his home base (supposedly).

Jezebel Jones

By day Jezebel Jones is an overworked, underpaid accountant for a trading
company, but by night and most weekends she works for the Brotherhood,
both as an accountant/funds manager and as a recruiter, trying to
find mutants to join their cause. Raised in a mutant family, Jezzie
has the power of invisibility, deflecting light from around her to make
it seem as if she isn't even there. Although she has been dating Ian
Alexandrios for three years now and loves him dearly, and only knows
him as a banker, she still hasn't told him what she is, even if she has
used her powers around him. She also hasn't told him the number of
times she has cheated on him with their very handsome neighbor
Ollie Eddy (one night stands, of course, except there have been nine
of them). She is increasingly growing in love with Ian, it's just that
thanks to his job he's away a lot, leaving her at home by herself. That's
one of the reasons she joined up with the Brotherhood in the first
place - boredom.

Kipling Stewart

Born to hippie parents in the backwoods of Wales, Kipling has never been
one hundred percent normal. Far from it, actually. With the power
to animate inanimate objects, in his case almost always his surrealist
sculptures, Kipling often 1.) talks in the third person 2.) refers to his
imaginary friends from when he was four and 3.) get high and/or
wasted. Kipling has been very single after his last girlfriend left him,
but he hasn't been in the dating market. Instead, he has stumbled
upon the Brotherhood quite by accident, and occasionally makes the
hundred mile trek from his artist commune in the village of Milton-
upon-Derry to give whatever assistance he can to the cause, even
though he uses his powers more for his own amusement than to really
help them out. That doesn't mean he hasn't killed anyone, though,
to "support the cause".

Harry Kaprun

An Austrian-Brit, Harold Kaprun has been torn between his cultural
homeland back in Vienna and between his place of birth in Glasgow
since he was born. His father, a fugitive from Austrian law, had
taken refuge in the slums of Scotland and raised his son to be just the
spitting little image of him, a German-speaking lawbreaker from birth.
Wilhelm Kaprun, however, was arrested while trying to enter Austria
and eight year old Harold deported back to the UK. Since then, he's
struggled to survive, even with his mutant powers - superspeed. He's
migrated to the back allies of London where he works as a waiter in a
German restaurant, getting drunk out of his mind on weekends and
occasionally giving the Brotherhood some help. His father is still in
prison, and he hopes one day he can somehow use his connections with
the organization to break his father out.

emission that makes men and women want to be with her, Bianca has
become one of the most popular and highest paid women in Hollywood,
even though she has recently moved back to her native New York to
work on Broadway. She loves her brother immensely and both have
promised to keep their secrets safe with each other, but at the same
time she is rather manipulative of him. She has dated almost every
well known actor in Hollywood and she has her sight set on others,
such as a few well placed officials in government. Bianca has always
wanted to marry a politician, after all.

a top Broadway producer gained her a small role in the chorus of his show.
Now fighting for the leading lady roles, she has found her nose rather
put out of joint by the new girl in town, Bianca Oort. However, despite
her professional jealousy, she can't help but be drawn to the woman,
in more ways than one...

Astrid Hendrix

Astrid Hendrix might only be 31, only three years out of receiving

are focused on being able to slowly cure and even slowly cause
psychotic episodes, from schizophrenia to delusions to multiple
personalities. Dr. Hendrix's methods of hypnotherapy disguise her
powers at work, and in fact it takes several hours and great deals of
energy for her to do any major work. For that, her patients are only
dealt with for short periods of time. Astrid makes eight figures a year
for speaking engagements and appointments and is now writing a
book, and has recently received an inquiry from a potential new
patient, a doctor by the name of Carson Rodgers...

Ivy Mulroney

Ivy is the sister of fugitive mutant Eric Mulroney. Originally from Bangor,
Maine, she is the youngest of the Mulroney children - one son and five
daughters. Of course, she has been frequently overlooked, but in a
college environment she is beginning to flourish from the one time
black sheep of the family into something of a social butterfly. She attends
Barnard College (following a family tradition of educational excellence)
and is currently a sophomore, but ever since her brother Eric became
a fugitive, she has kept in as much contact with him as she could,
knowing that she is a mutant herself, although she hasn't told her
family, afraid that they will react badly even though they still love
and care for Eric. She hasn't even told her beloved big brother. Her
powers are currently not defined.


Kimmy Thornton-Grant

Kimberly "Kimmy" Thornton-Grant might not be a very assuming
young lady, except in the event that her father is the Prime Minister
of England, Ian Grant. Her mother is an alcoholic, her father never
at home (and having an affair), and Kimmy has been left pretty much
to her own devices since she was 15, along with her brother Tom.
With that in mind, she made perfect grades while studying philosophy
at Oxford and is now studying for her Masters in Politics at the London
School of Economics, just because it gives her something to do. She
is no stranger to Ethan Underwood's bed, but Kimmy does harbor a
rather confusing obsession. Kimmy loves the idea of mutants - loving
mutants, studying mutants, being a mutant. She knows full and well
that Ethan is a mutant and she keeps his secret safe in exchange for
more information on mutants just to keep her weird love satiated.

Daisy Dunn

Daisy Dunn, at least at first glance, is little more than a ditzy,
blonde MILF. However, her fluffy, almost Barbie-doll exterior hides a
sharp mind and a deadly mutation. Daisy can release a paralysing
toxin at will through her fingertips, which can render a human being
totally immobile within a few seconds. While she has never used her
power to kill someone, she has come close by accident, when she was
inexperienced in the control of her powers, resulting in her then-
boyfriend being hospitalized for a week. She rarely chooses to exercise
her mutation, but has been discovered by the Brotherhood and the
Alliance, both of whom are trying to woo her to their side, seeing
her as a formidable ally. However, despite her attempts to keep her
mutation secret, she is afraid that one of her students,
Kimmy Thornton-Grant, daughter of the Prime Minister, may have
discovered her secret.

Isabella Perez-MacDonald

Princess Isabella of Spain, legally Isabella Marisol Maria Acevedo y Perez,
has been raised in the lap of luxury since birth, since she is second in
line to the throne of Spain since her father was the only child and then
only produced four daughters himself. However, she escaped the
rigors of royal life for the halls of Cambridge, graduating with her
degree in Philosophy and teaching Spanish in a London elementary
school for five years, during that time meeting Nathan, a man she
thought at the time was just another lawyer, albeit an extremely
kind, smart, and even funny lawyer. Once they began to date, it all
came out that she was a Princess and he a Baron, but they were
engaged and then married nevertheless. Except from Nathan and her
close family, she has never revealed she is a mutant - she can turn
her entire body into a ghost-like form, and not just for phasing. She
has since retired from teaching, dedicating her life to being a do-gooder,
an eternal volunteer as she calls herself, all while Nathan lobbies for
mutant rights.

A former instructor of physical education at Xavier's, Isaiah Rourke is
a tough as nails yet fun loving Irish-American straight from Boston. As
smart as he is, Isaiah has a fondness for his rough and tumble career,
now protecting celebrity kids in New York City and occasionally abroad
if the price is right. A divorcee with no kids of his own, Isaiah nowadays
spends his time doing his job and rooting for the Red Sox, playing in a
men's softball league during the summers in Central Park. New York is
his adopted hometown, but he makes no amends for preferring Boston
any day of the week. He's been arrested more than once for bar fights
but still sees himself as something as a mentor to the former Institute
kids, all the while having a feeling in his gut that the remnants of the
X-Men will not last long before falling because of an inept leadership.

Violet Donogue

A perky Canadian fashion stylist and personal shopper at Barneys,
Violet never seems to let anything get in her way of leading her life
the way she wants to, not even the fact she is a mutant with the
ability to play possum in a way - appear convincingly dead for up to
three days at a time. Her heart stops and she stops breathing, but
her body lives in suspended animation. It helped her escape her
violent boyfriend back home in Nova Scotia, and after making it to
New York five years ago with twenty dollars in her pocket, she has
made quite the name for herself, aligning herself with the X-Men
for the protection it affords her since she's otherwise quite defenseless
and innocent. Violet is your token innocent girl, a bit naive and
prone to relying on others, but her heart of gold shines brighter than
any other in the entire city.

Claudio Cuore

The head of the Cuore crime family, Claudio is an aging man responsible
for a number of interesting developments in recent years. Firstly, he
brought into the world three children with his now deceased wife
Alessandra – son Marco and daughters Lucia and Maria. More
importantly, though, Claudio saw the opportunity that using mutants
to his advantage after witnessing Marco’s use of his powers against the
police. He is a cold-hearted bastard who uses people to his advantage,
especially Marco, bossing him around and keeping him wrapped around
his little finger. Claudio knows what he wants and he will stop at
nothing to get it, no matter who he has to step on in the process.

Marco Cuore

Always a slightly whiney, shy man, Marco was raised in a sheltered
environment by his doting mother and his father that simply wanted
to cultivate a good heir. Having lost the only woman he ever loved to
his father’s greed, Marco has watched people he loves be slaughtered
because it was “good for him”. Still, he harbors the secret of being a
mutant, photokinesis, the ability to control light. After using it to
scare off the cops in a panic, his father has used him, as well as a
whole slew of mutants he has recruited or kidnapped, to create
something of an army he hopes will help him take over New York.
Despite having seen how evil his father can be, and knowing that
what Claudio Cuore does really is wrong, Marco keeps his head down
and continues to be a good little servant to the cause. Unbeknown to
him, though, Claudio Cuore isn’t even his real father…

Lucia Cuore

Claudio’s admitted favorite, Lucia is the sneaky, manipulative youngest
Cuore child, and the one who would be the best leader going into the
future if mob politics allowed for a female boss. The ultimate bitch,
she always attempts to undermine Marco and Maria to make herself
appear in a more favorable light, and more than has considered
having her brother killed to make sure he cannot be boss, forcing her
into the role. Lucia is a prized capo, or Lieutenant, in the family, also
working as Claudio’s secretary at the family’s auto garage in New
Jersey. Claudio constantly tells her to get married to a good Italian
and give him real grandchildren, but Lucia is scared to tell him she’s
really a lesbian.

Maria Cuore

The eldest Cuore child, but also the black sheep of the family, Maria
Alessandra Cuore left the protective fold of the family for the party
scene of late 1980s and early 1990s New York. As a club kid, she was
a drug addict and a teenage mother, giving birth to Magdalena when
she was only 17, the father unknown. With a child on her hands,
Maria cleaned up and turned herself around, living in Jersey City
while she raised her daughter and taking up art. Soon she became
one of the most heralded sculptors in the United States, and her first
one woman show at the Museum of Modern Art opens in February.
The only member of her family she’s still close with is Marco, but she
is slowly falling back in with the family now that she’s found out her
daughter is a mutant.

Magdalena Cuore

A brilliant young pianist studying at Juilliard, Maggie Cuore was raised
in an eclectic home around art and music and without much
knowledge of her family’s true business, only ever really knowing
Uncle Marco as her grandfather continued to call her a bastard child
to her face. Maggie hates her grandfather and hates the idea of what
her family represents, but she remains close to her uncle as her
powers, being able to warp sound into a destructive force, continue to
dominate her life. They are hard to control and more than once have
they manifested during moments of high pressure, such as her
Sophomore Concert when she burst two sprinkler pipes in the recital
hall. She’s living in fear but has promised herself never to fall in with
the mob – Marco and Maria have promised to keep her secret, but it’s
only a matter of time before Claudio finds out, especially as she falls
in love with one of the Infilzare’s captive mutants.

Morgan Svoboda

Morgan would be the first to admit that Claudio is her sugar daddy;
she has been his Mistress for two years now, ever since Alessandra
Cuore died. The thing is that she doesn’t need the money, since her
father is America’s fifth richest man and her mother one of the most
famed actresses of the 1980s, Veronica Delaney. Instead, she wants
the attention, and she has actually found herself falling in love with
the much older man and his dangerous ways. She might not be
smart, but she is pretty, and she knows that. Still, she has a secret of
her own, given that Infilzare captive Braden Knox is her ex-husband,
refusing to tell Claudio as payback to her cheating ex that she’s still in
love with.

Raised as a trust fund brat in Connecticut, Braden wanted there to be
more to his life than polo matches and debutante balls for his three
sisters. After attending MIT where he received his degree in Public
Health, he attended medical school at Columbia where he was able to
meet fellow rich kid Morgan Svoboda, only eighteen to his twenty
three. They were married in less than six months, but his career and
her party habit drew them apart. The final straw was him cheating,
leading to their hasty divorce. Several years later as he completed
his internship at Bellevue in epidemiology, Braden was captured
by the Infilzare, discovered as a mutant with a very beneficial power
to them. He’s been sitting in a makeshift cell in a basement with
several other captives since July now, and with threats to hurt his
sisters on his shoulders, he cooperates with Claudio’s demands.

Fiona Green

A once notoriously brutal member of the Brotherhood, Fiona Green
grew up on the streets of the Bronx, the daughter of a murderer and a
single mother. She joined the Bloods when she was only thirteen and
became pregnant with her daughter Silver when she was fifteen.
Fiona, though, had a secret - she could alter the composition of her skin
to make it rock hard while she appeared perfectly normal. Her fellow
gang members used this to their advantage, taking her as a human
shield to their fights and shootouts, until the MEU caught up with 18
year old Fiona while she took Silver to her aunt's one day before one of
these "missions". Heavy handed, the MEU managed to shoot Silver and
kill the toddler, capturing Fiona and throwing her into New Smyrna.
Since then she has been a vengeful mess, somewhat crazed by the loss
of her daughter, but she has managed to stay alive as a test subject,
the cellmate of Vita Kitayama for five months now. She has now been
transferred to Project Trinity as a control subject, even though there
has also been talk of trying to genetically modify the main subject of
Project Trinity with Fiona's DNA, just for kicks.

Despite being the baby of the family, Yukiko Kitayama was always
forgotten by her parents in favor of her big brother Ryuu. Leaving
Mount Holyoke a semester short of a degree in studio art, she instead
took to the New York party scene and became quite notorious as a
socialite and party girl. Six months ago, however, she was captured
by the MEU after a stay in the hospital led to a blood test that turned
up her X-Gene, however latent it might have been. Since then, she
has been at New Smyrna, a long term experiment trying to draw her
powers out, and once they were revealed to be quite powerful, develop
them to their fullest. During the breakout she was not able to escape,
keeping her locked inside, now handed over to Collette Masters as a
control subject for Project Trinity, along with her long term cellmate
